I can't control others' behavior. I can't control their choice. I can't control someone's perception of me or others. I can't control nightmares...awake or asleep. I can't control what happens. I can't control the future or change the past.
But I can trust the One who can. I can trust the One with the power to transform a heart. I can plead with the One who can guide choices. I can trust the One who loves me unconditionally and is living inside my heart. I can run to Him during the nightmares of life. I can trust the One who knows the purpose behind what is happening now. I will trust the only One who understands fully the true glorifying purposes of today and tomorrow.
I lay it down.
